I recently described myself as being as straight as the Gunbarrel Highway in the Australian outback, but now that I think about it I am actually straighter than the Gunbarrel Highway.
The Earth is round and the Gunbarrel highway curves with the curvature of the Earth.
So it's not as straight as people think it is and it's not as straight as me.
So there!
